FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need to book to attend one of your classes?
We offer a wide variety of classes throughout the day. All classes are free for members (subject to membership times) or £9 for non-members. Due to high demand for our spinning classes, these must be pre-booked in advance at reception or by calling 01892 548700. All other classes don’t require booking, just turn up on the day.
Can I use your gym just for a one off session?
Yes, we offer day passes which can be purchased at reception for £7, which allows you access to the gym for one session. Depending on your circumstances, if you are only around for a week or so then we also offer a 1, 2, or 3-week passes, or a single month option if you need something short-term.
Is there a joining fee?
No, there is no joining fee! All we require when you sign up is to pay for the remainder of the current month in which you join which would be worked out on a pro rata basis. After that we’d then we would set up a direct debit to start the month following.
What is the minimum age to join?
The minimum age to join the gym is 15. However if you have a personal trainer then there is no minimum age (subject to trainer discretion).
Do you offer inductions if am new to fitness?
Yes we do offer inductions to all new members. Within this we would teach you how to use the equipment correctly and safely. We are also happy to create you a personalised programme to follow, as well as means of tracking progress such as measurements, body fat testing and progress photos.
How would I go about getting myself a personal trainer?
The best way is to head over to our personal trainers page. Have a look through their profiles to help you choose a trainer that you feel would best suit you and contact them directly. Alternatively you can contact us and we can put you in contact with your desired PT.
Does your facility have lockers?
Yes, we have lockers for you to keep your belongings safe. They just require a padlock, which are available to purchase at reception for just £5.99 or alternatively you can bring your own.
Do I need to commit to a 12 month contract or can I be a bit more flexible?
We have various membership options for you to choose from, all designed to be completely flexible. All memberships run on a monthly rolling basis and simply require 4 weeks’ notice if you wish to cancel.
